Bashundhara Cricket Network has appointed former Bangladesh head coach Richard Pybus as its director for cricket development and training, the organization announced in a press release on Saturday.
Pybus worked with the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) in 2012, almost a decade ago. Pybus left the BCB after serving for just four and a half months.
Then in 2017, the issue of Pybus becoming a coach came up again. However, in the end, he did not join the BCB.
Pybus’ coaching career is quite rich. He was the coach of Selborne College in East London, South Africa, for four consecutive years until 1991. Later, Pybus was also the consultant for Pakistan’s World Cup team in 1999. After that, he worked with the team for various periods. He also worked with the West Indies team.
