The Bangladesh High Performance Unit (HP) camp is about to begin. The camp will last from Thursday to mid-August with 28 cricketers. The BCB confirmed the matter in a press release on Wednesday night.
The cricketers will undergo a screening test for three days on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Then on June 16, the cricketers will leave for Chittagong. In the first phase, a camp will be held in Chittagong from June 17 to July 14. After completing the first phase of practice in Chittagong, the HP team will go to Rajshahi on July 15. The second phase of practice will continue there from July 16 to August 13.
In addition to cricket practice, this camp will provide knowledge about English language skills, diet, communication with the media, understanding of playing conditions and anti-corruption guidelines. After the first three-day theoretical camp in Dhaka, skill training and match practice will be held in Chittagong and Rajshahi.
