After the defeat to Gujarat, Hardik Pandya has given a big statement calling the no-ball bowled by the bowlers a crime.

Mumbai Indians had to face a humiliating defeat by three wickets in the last match against Gujarat Titans. Hardik Pandya’s team batted first and scored only 155 runs after losing 8 wickets. During the second innings, rain interrupted the game a lot, after which Gujarat got a target of 147 runs (DLS Target) in 19 overs.

Hardik Pandya is very sad and disappointed after the defeat against Gujarat. He has given a big statement calling the no-balls bowled by the bowlers a crime.

No-balls hurt you – Hardik Pandya

Gujarat Titans needed 15 runs to win in the last over, and Mumbai could only keep four fielders outside the circle as they were behind the minimum over-rate. Hardik handed the ball to Deepak Chahar in the final over. But Rahul Tewatia hit a four on the very first ball. A run came on the second ball and then Gerald Coetzee, who was on strike, hit a six on the third ball of the over.

After conceding a six, Deepak Chahar bowled a no-ball. However, he dismissed Gerald Coetzee on the fifth ball of the over. But Arshad Khan took a run on the last ball and gave the team victory. Apart from Deepak Chahar, Hardik Pandya also bowled two no-balls in the 8th over of Gujarat’s innings. Apart from this, Mumbai also dropped the catch of Shubman Gill in the 12th over, which also proved costly for the team.

Hardik Pandya said after the defeat,

“The catches didn’t really hurt us but the no-balls, my no-balls and even the no-ball in the last over, in my eyes that is an offence in T20 and often it hurts you. But I am very happy with the boys that they gave their 120 per cent, made sure we stayed in the game and didn’t concede.”
