Mushfiqur-Shant’s camp begins today, includes practice matches

The holy Eid-ul-Adha was celebrated across the country on Saturday, June 7. And on the occasion of that Eid, the national team cricketers were on vacation. However, Nazmul Hossain Shantara will not be able to take a long vacation after Eid. A full series against Sri Lanka will be played from the 17th of this month. The series will begin with a two-match Test series.

And the Bangladesh team will leave the country on June 13 to play that series. Before leaving the country, the Tigers will hold a practice camp from today. This practice camp will start at 2 pm today at the Mirpur Sher-e-Bangla Cricket Stadium. The entire coaching staff will be with the cricketers from the beginning.

There will be a practice camp tomorrow as well. Then, on Wednesday and Thursday, there will be a two-day red-ball practice match. Where the cricketers of the Bangladesh Test team and the cricketers of the A team will play. After that, the Bangladesh team will fly to the island nation of Sri Lanka to play the Test.

Earlier, the BCB had announced a 16-member squad for the Test series. Ebadat Hossain has returned to the team after almost two years of injury. Nazmul Hossain Shanto remains the captain as usual. Mehedi Hasan Miraj will be the vice-captain.
