The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) made the decision official on April 10, after Bosch opted to pull out of the PSL in favor of playing in the Indian Premier League (IPL). The ban comes as a result of his decision to leave Peshawar Zalmi, who had picked him in the PSL draft in January 2025, just weeks before the season began.

As a result, Corbin Bosch receives one year ban and accepted the penalty imposed by the PCB, which included a fine and a one-year ban from the PSL.
