Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) curator Tony Hemming suddenly left Bangladesh last year. Rumors had it that he left BCB due to lack of development. However, Hemming is coming to Bangladesh again. He will work as the BCB’s chief curator. A BCB director confirmed the matter to Dhaka Post.

He said that an agreement has been reached with Hemming. He will come to the country soon. He will basically teach all the curators. Hemming will also perform another new role called Head of Turf. BCB has been in contact with Tony Hemming for the last 6 months. Finally, he is becoming a curator again.

Hemming had earlier joined the BCB as the chief curator in July 2023. He had a two-year contract with the BCB. However, the curator stepped down before the end of that term. After stepping down from the post of BCB curator on July 10 last year, he joined the PCB as the chief curator. He had a two-year contract with the organization.

Before working in Bangladesh, Hemming served as the chief curator of the ICC Cricket Academy and the Dubai International Stadium. He was also the ICC Pitch Consultant for the Oman Cricket Academy.

In addition, this experienced turf manager has also served as the Arena Manager of Optus Stadium in Perth, an international presenter and educator at the ICC Cricket Academy, and the Arena Manager of the King Fahd International Football Stadium in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
