A total of 8 more matches are to be played in PSL 2025 including playoffs and league stages.

Pakistan Cricket Board i.e. PCB has decided to move the remaining matches of Pakistan Super League i.e. PSL 2025 outside the country. PCB has decided to shift PSL from Pakistan to Dubai. There are 8 matches left in the 10th season of PSL, which includes four playoffs matches and four league matches.

PCB has decided to shift this tournament to UAE amid military confrontation between India and Pakistan. The PCB cited untoward circumstances for the decision, including cross-border drone strikes and exchange of gunfire, raising concerns about the safety of players, staff and fans.

The Pakistan Cricket Board held an emergency meeting in Islamabad on Thursday, where PCB chairman Mohsin Naqvi held a meeting with foreign players. Foreign players said that they want to leave Pakistan as soon as possible. He doesn’t want to play any matches there now.

PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi made a big statement

PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi said in a statement that the decision has been taken to ensure the mental well-being of all players participating in the league. “Like in the past, we hope that our stakeholders will unite with us to advance the best interests of the tournament, our players and fans,” he said. The official statement from the Pakistan Cricket Board has also come on the shift of PSL. On the other hand, the match of IPL 2025 was also stopped due to blackout on Thursday night.

The match to be played in Rawalpindi on 8 May had to be postponed due to reports of drone strikes at the stadium. According to top intelligence sources, the decision was taken after India carried out drone strikes on Pakistan on Thursday, one of which took place on the Rawalpindi cricket stadium.
