Solanki also said that Rabada will definitely learn a lesson from his 30-day suspension.
“I read Kagiso’s statement, and I thought his statement spoke a lot about his personality. As I said, he has expressed regret. But he is very keen to get back to playing the game that he loves. He will learn his lessons from this and we are just looking forward to having him back as part of our group and back in practice. He has served his time.”
“The other thing I want to put on record is that as far as the process and protocols are concerned, everybody involved, from Kagiso to his representative, in all cases, as far as the requirements are concerned, they have been followed. We also try to take care of the sentiments around Kagiso. He has returned after a 30-day suspension. And what we want now is for him to just do what he loves, and do the job that we appreciate. And that is to be part of the team.”
